We are a Natural Reserve of the Civil Society (RNSC). Since 2021, we have been assisting the natural restoration of a lush and beautiful corner of the cloud forest in the eastern Andes.

Native plant species, several of them endemic to the Colombian Andes. Some are threatened, such as the wax palm (Ceroxylon quindiuense) and the Oncidium gloriosum orchid.

Terrestrial mammals have been recorded, some of them in camera trap images taken in the reserve. We have also observed three endemic species of frogs: Dendropsophus molitor, Pristimantis bogotensis and Pristimantis elegans (VU).
